COMM ONE CALL ACCOUNTING
CAQ-1737 Daylight Savings Time
DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME
Some telephone systems do not adjust the call time for daylight savings time. This is especially true for systems that report UTC time instead of local time. The Comm One Call Processing utility can account for this and adjust your call time so that your calls show the correct time.
Daylight Savings time is set using the plsys.toolbox field in the plsys.dbf file. In that field you indicate how far ahead or behind your local time is from UTC Time. Daylight Savings time is also automatically adjusted as needed so that your reports show the correct time. If it is currently Daylight Savings Time, put in the regular time (non-daylight savings time) and the script will adjust the time accordingly.
EXAMPLE:
UTC-5
UTC-6
UTC-8
UTC+4
