HOW TO RUN AN AUTOMATIC SUMMARY REPORT FROM COMMAND LINE
 

Here is the syntax to run the Summary report with command line options so that you can configure multiple detail reports with different parameters.

NOTE:  YOU MUST INCLUDE ALL 4 PARAMETERS for the report to run correctly.

SYNTAX
Here is the syntax for the report:
 

AUTO_SUMMARY18.EXE [REPORT_TYPE] [DATE_RANGE] [DEPARTMENT] [FORMAT] [EMAIL]

 

VALID REPORT TYPES:  

• [SPECIFIED] - DEFAULT Run the whole report to the Specified Emails Listed in the Mail Setup Utility

• [DEPARTMENT] - Run the report for Departments with listed Department Email Addresses

• [USER] - Run the report for Extensions with listed Email Addresses

• [CUSTOM] - Uses the email specified in the 5th parameter so send this email to.
   

VALID DATE RANGES

• [ALL] - Report on All Calls - All Date Ranges

• [TODAY] Filter the report for Today's Calls

• [YESTERDAY] DEFAULT - Filter the report for Yesterday's Calls

• [LAST7] Filter the report for the Last 7 Days Calls

• [LAST14] Filter the report for the Last 14 Days Calls

• [LAST21] Filter the report for the Last 21 Days Calls

• [LAST30] Filler the report for the Last 30 Days Calls
   

VALID DEPARTMENTS

• [ALL] DEFAULT - Run the report for ALL Departments

• [SPECIFIC_DEPARTMENT_NAME]  - Cannot include any spaces
   

NOTE:  Department names cannot include spaces.  If you need spaces, use an underline instead.

 

FOR EXAMPLE:  MY_DEPARTMENT.  The department needs to be set up in the Call Accounting with the underline as well.

 

VALID FORMATS

• [PDF] DEFAULT

• [CSV] Ascii Comma Separated Variable File

• [XLS] Excel PDF File

• [DBF] Databse DBF File
   

EMAIL

When TYPE is set to CUSTOM above, then the utility uses this email address. Leave this option blank if you are using any of the other report types (Specified, department, or user)

DETAIL REPORT COMMAND LINE EXAMPLES:
 

• AUTO_SUMMARY18.EXE CUSTOM ALL ALL PDF SUPPORT@COMMONE.COM
  Runs All calls, all departments, in PDF format to the address support@commone.com
   

• AUTO_SUMMARY18.EXE DEPARTMENT ALL ALL PDF
  Runs All calls, all departments, in PDF format to only Departments with email addresses listed in the Call Accounting department file.
   

• AUTO_SUMMARY18.EXE SPECIFIED YESTERDAY SALES PDF
  Runs a report for the SALES Department for Yesterdays Calls to the email addresses listed in the mail setup utility in PDF format.
   

• AUTO_SUMMARY18.EXE DEPARTMENT LAST21 ADMIN CSV
  Runs a report for the ADMIN Department for the LAST 21 DAYS  in CSV FORMAT to the email addresses associated with each department in the Call Accounting Department File.
