HOW CAPTURE SMDR/CDR RECORDS FROM 3COM 

3COM Phone systems send call records over a SFTP Connection.  In order to set up call collection on a 3COM system you need the following information to set up in your favorite SFTP software utility.

 

  1. HOST NAME:  The IP Address or Host name of the 3Com Telephone System

  2. PORT # FOR SMTP:  Usually 22

  3. USER NAME:  The SFTP User Name from your 3Com Phone System

  4. PASSWORD:  The SFTP Password from your 3Com Phone System

 

 

WHERE TO SAVE YOUR CALL LOGS
I your SFTP Utility set the logs to be saved to the \log_ftp directory under your Comm One Software Folder on c: drive.  You should also set your SFTP Utility to save the call records to a new file each day.
